This “Privacy Policy” describes the privacy practices of NorthBridge Partners, LLC and our affiliated companies, such as INSPACE INDUSTRIAL LLC (“InSpace”) (collectively, the Companies”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) with respect to the personal data we collect when you interact with us online, for example through our websites (“Sites”), app, or social media pages, use our products or services, or offline, such as when you attend one of our events (collectively, the “Services”).

How We Collect Personal Data 

We may collect personal data from various sources, including: 

  • From You. We may collect personal data and other information you provide directly to us or one of our third-party service providers when you use our Services, like creating your InSpace account, processing transactions, and any other information that you choose to provide online or offline. 
  • Referrals. We may collect personal data from other individuals or third parties you direct to share your data with us (e.g., you may direct your company to share data about your role or responsibilities). 
  • From Public or Third-Party Sources. We may collect data from public sources including, but not limited to, social media and other websites that enable social sharing. Personal data may also be available from government agencies, public or third-party information sources, third-party service providers, or business partners. We also may collect information from industry groups and associations or combine information we have collected from multiple sources. 
  • Automatically When You Engage with Us Online. We collect data through our Services and automatically, from devices that you use to connect to our Sites or Services.

Personal Data We Collect 

We may collect the following types of personal data:  

  • Contact Data. including your name, contact details (email address, postal address, and the name of the company, organization, association, or other similar legal entity that you are employed by or otherwise associated with your company.  
  • Account Registration Data. including your name, username, and password for our Sites or Services that require you to create an account with us. 
  • Financial Account and/or Billing Information. including payment account details (e.g. bank account and routing number) and billing address. We use third-party payment tools to process and store payment information for certain Services. We do not store payment information ourselves.  
  • Professional Data. including data about your company, such as industry, type of entity, and size, and data about your role in the company (e.g., your professional title, resume or cv, function, seniority, and any professional credentials). 
  • Employment Applicant Data. including your name, date of birth, demographic information (e.g., gender, sex, race, and ethnicity), Social Security number or other government-issued identification number, contact data (e.g., personal email and/or mailing address), and education and work experience. We collect this data when you apply for employment with us. 
  • Technical Data. including your browser type, IP address, type of operating system, the name of your internet service provider, mobile advertising identifiers, and pages visited on our Sites.  
  • Device Data. including your computer or mobile device operating system type and version number, manufacturer and model, browser type, screen resolution, IP (Internet Protocol) address, unique identifiers, the website you visited before browsing to our Sites, and general or inferred location data (e.g., city, state or geographic area from your IP address). 
  • Other Data. including any data you choose to provide to us, including data provided to us via questionnaires, feedback forms, or other similar methods, the content of emails or inquiries requests you send to us, the content of chat, social media, or other communications with us, and our responses to you. 

How We Use Your Personal Data 

  • Deliver Our Services. We use your personal data to provide and power our services, plan and organize services, events, or programs, communicate with you and respond to your requests and feedback.  
  • Process Transactions. We and our third-party payment tools may collect your payment information to process your transactions for our Services (e.g., lease payments through InSpace). 
  • Improving and Developing Our Services. We may use your data to analyze and improve the Services. We use data to analyze trends to identify future opportunities for the development, promotion, and improvement of our Services, we use data, often in a de-identified form, to develop new features, capabilities, or services, improve the user experience, assess capability requirements, and identify opportunities. 
  • Process Employment Applications. We may collect and use your personal data when you apply for employment with us. 
  • Compliance and Protection. We may use your personal data to: (a) comply with our legal obligations under applicable laws, including to protect our, your, or others’ rights, privacy, safety, or property (including by making and defending legal claims); (b) audit our internal processes for compliance with legal and contractual requirements and internal policies; and (c) enforce the terms and conditions that govern our Services. 
  • Protect and Secure Our Services. We may use your personal data to protect, investigate, and deter against fraudulent, harmful, unauthorized, unethical or illegal activity, including cyberattacks and identity theft.  
  • Comply with our Legal Obligations. We may use your personal data to comply with applicable laws, lawful requests, and legal process (e.g., to respond to subpoenas or requests from government authorities). 
  • For Our Business Purposes. We may use your personal data for other legitimate business purposes in reliance on our legitimate interests, including to: (a) update, expand, and analyze our records; (b) identify new members; (c) analyze data; (d) protect, investigate, and deter against fraudulent, unauthorized, or illegal activity; (e) developing new products, enhancing, improving or modifying our Services; and (f) identifying usage trends, determining the effectiveness of our promotional campaigns, as well as operating and expanding our business. 
  • Other Purposes with Your Consent. In some cases, we may ask for your consent to collect, use, or share your personal data for other purposes (e.g., we may ask for your consent to send you marketing emails where required by law or to post your endorsement).

How We Share Your Personal Data  

  • Within Our Organization. We may share your personal data with the Companies in our organization, including with our affiliates and subsidiaries.  
  • Service Providers. We may share your personal data with third parties that provide services on our behalf or help us provide or operate the Services and our Sites.    
  • Partners. We may share your personal data with our partners (e.g., if we host an event, we may share data relating to your participation or registration in such event). 
  • Professional Services. We may share information with organizations that provide professional or consultancy services to us, such as our accountants, auditors, and legal advisors. 
  • Other Members and the Public. Other parties may be able to view your personal data when you provide such data through the Services, or on our social media pages or groups, or voluntarily disclose it in a manner that the public can view it.  
  • At Your Direction.  Any of your personal data that you post publicly on, through or in connection with our social media pages or groups, may also be public. We do not control how other others use any personal data that you make available to them.  
  • Business Transition.  We may share data with another entity in the event of a restructuring, or as part of the due diligence or business integration process, in the event we undergo a business transaction involving another company (e.g., a merger, corporate reorganization, acquisition, or lease or sale of all or a portion of our assets).   
  • Compliance and Protection. We may disclose your personal data as we believe appropriate to government or law enforcement officials or private parties: (a) for the compliance and protection purposes described above; (b) as required by law, lawful requests or legal process, such as to respond to subpoenas or requests from government authorities; (c) where permitted by law in connection with any legal investigation; and (d) to prosecute or defend legal claims. 
  • Aggregated Data; De-Identified Data; Usage Data. We may also share aggregated or de-identified usage data with third parties to help us perform analysis and make improvements with respect to our Services. Additionally, we may share anonymous usage data on an aggregate basis in the normal course of operating our business (e.g., we may share data publicly to show trends in the use of our Services).

Cookies and Other Tools  

We, our service providers, or partners may collect information about you by automated means.  This involves using cookies, web beacons and other similar technologies to better understand, customize and improve the experience of our Sites, services and offerings. Cookies are small files that a website sends to your computer or device or other technical methods to track visitor usage, including web beacons, which are small pieces of data that are embedded in images on the pages of a website.  

Certain cookies and tracking tools are necessary for us to enable basic functions on our Sites, like page navigation and logging in to secure areas of our Sites. Other cookies and tracking tools allow us to understand and remember how you prefer to interact with our Sites. 

Browsers and other tools may offer you the ability to disable receiving certain types of cookies on our Sites; however, if certain cookies are disabled, some features or functionality of our Sites may not function correctly. 

Your Rights and Choices  

Subject to certain exemptions and limitations based on where you reside, you may have certain rights in connection with your personal data. To exercise any of the rights below, contact us using the details in the “Contact Us” section below. Depending on where you reside, you may have the following rights: 

  • Know the categories and/or specific pieces of personal data collected about you, including whether your personal data is sold or disclosed, and with whom your personal data was shared; 
  • Access a copy of the personal data we have collected about you, including the right to data portability; 
  • Request deletion of your personal data; 
  • Correct or update inaccurate personal data; 
  • Opt-out of sales or sharing of your personal data for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes; and  
  • Limit processing (e.g., where the accuracy of the data is disputed).

We reserve the right to verify your identity in connection with any requests regarding personal data to help ensure that we provide the data we maintain to the individuals to whom it pertains and allow only those individuals or their authorized representatives to exercise rights with respect to that data. If you are an authorized agent making a request on behalf of an individual, we may require and request additional data to verify that you are authorized to make that request. We may also request additional data where necessary (e.g., if we suspect an access request is fraudulent, we will request additional data to verify your identity).  We reserve the right to deny your request if we cannot verify your identity.  

You have the right not to be discriminated against for your privacy choices, and we will not restrict or deny you access to our Services because of choices and requests you make in connection with your personal data. Please note, certain choices may affect our ability to deliver the Services.

Third Party Sites and Services  

Our Services may contain links to other websites and other online services operated by third parties. These links are not an endorsement of, or representation that we are affiliated with, any third party. In addition, our content may be included on web pages or online services that are not associated with us. We do not control third-party websites or online services, and we are not responsible for their actions. Other websites and services follow different rules regarding the collection, use, and sharing of your personal data. We encourage you to read the privacy policies of the other websites and online services you use. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this data will not be shared with any third party. 

Security 

The security of your personal data is important to us. We take several organizational, technical, and physical measures designed to protect the personal data we collect, both during transmission and once we receive it. However, no security safeguards are 100% secure and we cannot guarantee the security of your personal data. 

Data Transfers  

Any data you provide may be stored and processed, transferred between, and accessed from the United States, where we are headquartered. Regardless of where you reside, we will handle your personal data in accordance with this Privacy Policy. 

Data Retention  

Your personal data will be retained only for so long as reasonably necessary for the purposes set out in this policy and consistent with our retention policies, considering criteria (e.g., applicable rules on statute of limitations, legal requirements, and the duration of your use of our Services). In general, this retention will be at least for the duration of your relationship with us and a longer period as necessary for legal defense purposes or as required by tax and other applicable laws and regulations. 

Children 

Northbridge does not knowingly acquire or receive personal data from children under the age of eighteen (18). If we learn that any individual accessing or using the Services is under the age of eighteen (18), we will take appropriate steps to delete that individual’s personal data and restrict that individual from future access or use of the Services. If you are a parent or guardian and you learn that your child under eighteen (18) has provided us with personal data, please contact us (see “Contact Us” section below). 

Changes to this Policy 

We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make any changes to this Privacy Policy, we will post an amended version and update the “Last Updated” date above. We may also provide notification of changes in another way that we believe is reasonably likely to reach you, such as by posting a conspicuous notice on our Sites or via e-mail (if you have an account where we have your contact data) or in another manner through the Services. 

Please review this Privacy Policy periodically. Any modifications to this Privacy Policy will be effective upon our posting of the new terms and/or upon implementation of the new changes in the Services (or as otherwise indicated at the time of posting). In all cases, your continued access and use of the Services after the posting of any modified Privacy Policy indicates your acceptance of the terms of the modified Privacy Policy.
